Ascott Parc Wedding
This romantic summer wedding at Ascott Parc unfolded so beautifully. It was a dream to photograph this special day with a venue like this. Samantha & Chris have a very tight family and there was so much emotion in the air. Everyone was so happy to celebrate this day with them. But I must admit, I couldn’t wait for when we had time alone with them for their bride and groom portraits because they could just relax and be themselves. Their love was just pure magic.
Rescheduling and reworking weddings has been a big thing these past couple years. This particular wedding more than most. They were supposed to get married at Ascott Parc in 2020. But with all the guest count restrictions due to Covid-19, that was not going to happen. Granted there were still some restrictions even now at Ascott Parc, but the biggest difference was the baby they had in toe.
Big Wedding Gets Bigger
That’s right, during the wedding delays and rescheduling they had a baby. In fact, 2 of the bridesmaids had babies as well. Now these two already had big plans for their dream wedding. This has got to be the most elaborate decor I’ve seen in years. And their original bridal party of 22 (not including the couple), just got bigger with some fresh flower girls. So you’d think they would simply some elements to maintain their sanity… nope. Pretty much every detail from their original wedding plan stayed the same. It was a long stressful day. But with everyone waiting two years for this special event, I do understand that they wanted to make the wait worth while. And this wedding was well worth it.
