Aurora Town Hall
As a wedding photographer, I get to witness all kinds of celebrations. But Carina & Ben’s wedding was a perfect reminder that intimacy and intention make for the most meaningful days. Even at elopement venues like Aurora Town Hall.
Their story began at Aurora Town Hall, where they exchanged vows in a small city hall ceremony surrounded by a close-knit group of family and friends. The atmosphere was calm, warm, and full of emotion. One of those moments where you can truly feel how present everyone is. With fewer distractions, every glance, smile, and squeeze of the hand carried so much weight, and it was a joy to document those quiet, genuine interactions.
Richmond Green Park
After the ceremony, we headed to Richmond Green Park for bridal party and couple portraits. Fresh snow covered the ground, transforming the park into a soft, wintry backdrop. Carina and Ben embraced the cold with such ease. Still laughing, cuddling close, and trusting the moment. The snow added a timeless feel to their portraits, and their bridal party kept spirits high with plenty of laughter between shots. Those images felt effortless and romantic, the kind that never go out of style.
Parola Ristorante
The celebration continued at Parola Ristorante, where the evening shifted into something lively and heartfelt. The reception was filled with beautiful speeches that had everyone alternating between tears and laughter. After cake cutting, the energy picked up with traditional dancing, and the room quickly filled with movement, music, and joy. From a photographer’s perspective, it was a dream. Authentic moments unfolding naturally, one after another.
Carina & Ben’s wedding proved that you don’t need a big production to create something unforgettable. Thoughtful choices, meaningful locations, and genuine connection made their day truly special. And an absolute pleasure to photograph.
