Backyard Wedding
A backyard wedding is perfect for couples who love to be outdoors and want a uniquely sentimental feel for their big day. This particular couple was not that. They wanted a big event with everyone they knew in attendance. However, Covid  just wouldn’t allow it at the time. So they reformatted over and over again. Until finally relocated the event to their family’s home. All the key guests were there. And the focus switched from the grand wedding, to a family centric event.
Now I personally love backyard weddings. They’re low key, and low stress affairs. And lately, they’ve had the added benefit of not being cancelled last minute due to Covid restrictions. So aside from the bridal party photos at Richmond Green, everything was kept in-house.
Gazebo Ceremony
Whether your backyard is small or sprawling, you’ll want to pay particular attention to where you set up your ceremony. In this case, the couple was able to utilize a gazebo as the setting for their ceremony, and cake display. There was some predictions of bad weather. However with all the changes this wedding already went through, this couple was going to have their wedding outside rain or shine.
Backyard Wedding Reception
Once the ceremony was complete, we went straight into cocktail hour. This was an Arab / Russian Fusion. They had a few miscellaneous speeches. But the central focus of this reception was definitely the drinking and dancing.
