There’s probably not going to be another 12-month period that’s as miraculous as the year that just passed. Your baby‘s first birthday will be here before you know it. Your little cutie will certainly keep growing and continuing to charm everyone in sight, but there’s simply no more dramatic transformation than the one that takes place between birth and age one. You already know you’re going to celebrate this milestone in a big way. Now, it’s just a matter of making sure you’ll have happy memories to look back on forever.
These portrait sessions are obviously focused on the birthday boy/girl. However, parents and siblings are welcome to participate. It’ll be a great excuse to get dressed up and have some fun photos taken together. Location is your choice. Additional samples of my family portraits are available on my blog and Instagram. Be sure to also check out the COVID safety protocols I have in place in order to keep everyone safe.
1 hr Birthday Shoot $200: This session is for a single nuclear households. Includes a minimum of 20 edited photos.
Add a Cake Smash $100: It’s still a 1hr session except half of it will be dedicated to the cake smash.
Typically, a cake smash session is done around the baby’s first Birthday. The photos are then used to adorn party invitations or let family and friends know about important developmental milestones. Not to mention the hilariously embarrassing opportunities for when the kid grows up. These sessions can be done in your home or backyard. Family members are welcome to witness the event however the photos for this session are focused on the birthday kid.
Keep in mind, for most kids this will be the first time they’re experiencing sugar. Not only do they get to eat cake, but they can do whatever they like with it. From face planting into it to throwing the bits and pieces around like there’s no tomorrow. If this is a session you’re interested in, do inquire early as there are things you can do to prepare your baby for the event.
30 min Cake Smash $150: Decorations are provided. Due to food allergies, you’d have to provide your own cake.
Your baby’s first birthday also doubles as your one year anniversary as a family. So having a party with family and friends could be a great way of bringing everyone together. You’ll get full event coverage from greeting guests, to blowing out candles, to opening presents.
1 hr Birthday Party $200: $100 for each additional hour.
Add a Cake Smash $100: What’s a party without cake.
