The Bradford Barn is such a stunning wedding venue. If you’re looking for a rustic venue with a country feel, look no further. They have a stunning space set up for the civil ceremony, just steps away from the reception venue. The open fields were great for ambiance and a cool breeze on this otherwise hot summer’s day. This also happened to be my first time filming a wedding outdoors with the wind. I was a bit nervous going in, but I am happy that you are still able to hear the couple’s beautiful wedding vows.
Readene and Dylan are one of those couples that when you meet them, you just know they are meant to be. I didn’t even meet them until their wedding day. The bride found me on a mutual Facebook group when I was just starting out as a videographer. I had been photographing weddings for years but wanted to break out into wedding video. There was no portfolio to show, but they took a chance on me. I know its always a little nerve-racking taking a chance on someone new. Especially when it comes to your wedding. So, this was something I definitely appreciated. And I’m even happier over the results.
Countyry Rustic Wedding
The country barn wedding suited them perfectly. All the rustic touches were perfect. Their cocktail hour had yard games such as cornhole toss and giant Jenga. However, the highlight of the evening was the couple’s birth announcement. That’s right, the bride is pregnant. You’d never guess it considering how stunning she looked in that dress. The family was thrilled. The guests were an even bigger uproar.
What’s even better, they brought me back for the maternity shoot. However, this time I’ll be photographing it which I am a lot more comfortable with. Let’s keep this lovely family growing.
I will also be photographing Readene’s Maternity Session next year.
