Carmen’s C Hotel
Trintiy & Derek’s wedding at Carmen’s C Hotel was such a pleasure to capture. We started the day with the bride and groom getting ready in separate rooms at the hotel. This hotel is very nice and modern. In fact, each floor has a different bold colour with sayings all around. I loved the rich red that was in the bedroom of the bridal suite. The red bedrooms and the dark expresso headboard lends a great backdrop for photos as the couple got ready. So, if you are looking for a venue that has it all, Carmen’s C Hotel is definitely an amazing option.
This Carmen’s C Hotel Wedding all took place at one location. The ceremony was atop the rooftop patio. The father of the bride was scared of heights but he performed his duties flawless. But the star of the show was the flower boy. We need more of these at weddings.
The ceremony was followed with family portraits. This also doubled as bridal party portraits since all the bridal party members were family. Once completed the couple was able to disappear for a few minutes to do their couple photos just outside the hotel. Normally couples who utilize this hotel will do their portraits at a nearby park. But due to time restraints, we kept all of it nearby.
Once the portraits were done, the couple was free to mingle with their guests. Their grand entrance was kept pretty simple. But once dinner was finished and a few tables were cleared… they were able to create a significant dance floor. Parent dances, couple dance, and bouquet/garter toss were all included. And what’s a Canada Day wedding without fireworks?
