When I first started offering Christmas Minis, I did it in combination with my Fall Minis so that everything could be outdoors and remain COVID friendly. However it seems that as the season progressed and it got colder, more families wanted to participate. And since having kids outdoors during Canadian winter for a portrait session isn’t an option, I decided to transition my clients into using studio rentals. These spaces come predesigned with a variety of holiday decorations. They’re also climate controlled, ventilated, and still provide a safe environment for everyone involved. And the Christmas Minis format even allowed for families on a tighter budget to still participate.
I know how cherished your children and your memories of them are. At the same time, I understand how the pressures that come with school, travel, work, and after school activities can make it difficult for you to make a family photography session a priority. You want to document your children as they grow and capture all their milestones. But with the daily chaos that is life, their childhood seems to be passing by in the blink of an eye.
And thanks to COVID, it’s like you missed out on a lot. So consider this session as an attempt at normalcy. For many families, its their child’s first Christmas. We don’t know what the state of the world will be once Christmas arrive. So these Christmas Minis can capture the milestone. And no one has to cancel Christmas.
I deliver you professionally edited images via digital download one week after your Christmas minis. I don’t sensor the images. If they successfully came out, you get it. On the chance you have multiple kids, I composite when possible. If your pet blinks, his eyes will be opened. These are all standard edits included in my package prices. If you’re looking for outfit ideas, Pinterest is a great option.
I also photographed their daughter’s first birthday.
