Claireport Place Banquet & Convention Centre is quickly becoming one of my regular venues. Whenever couples plan a wedding, they have this perfect vision in mind. That vision is so real that it’s as if they’ve already lived it. Its why Claireport Place works so hard to bring that vision to life. They recreate your dream event and essentially make your dreams come true. For this couple, it’s especially true. Sharlene is actually the wedding planner behind Vows and Vacations. She specializes in destination weddings, so planning a local one for herself was a breeze. This wedding had so much going on and she had a very clear vision of what she wanted to happen. After all, it a portfolio piece as well as her wedding.
The venue’s exterior was mesmerizing with its European Renaissance architecture. And once you move inside, there are all the little details. Photo features include a grand white piano, designer fireplace, and a convention centre hall that can turn into anything you wish. Claireport Place offers full packages that provide clients with complete service. From the lighting and decor to the delicious menu. This couple upgraded a few features to their wedding reception by including fireworks to their grand entrance and late night station. They also had dry ice during their first dance. Other key features Sharleen brought in include a Lamborghini ride custom flooring, large silver centrepieces, and a swing for the wedding cake.
Welcome to Day 2 of Sharleen and Chris’s multiday wedding. Southasian weddings are already large lavish affairs. When you have a family this big, you definitely need the extra day to keep everything on track. Everything was planned out to a tee. However, something we didn’t expect was the rainstorm that came out of nowhere. Thanks to some quick brainstorming, we relocated the bridal party portrait session to Sharleen’s grandma’s condo. Condos are often a great fall back location for wedding pictures. The lobbies have a lot of elegant features that you can play around with. the french stairwell was my favourite. I know the original plan was gardens and greenery. However, this condo portrait session worked really well with the elegant reception that proceeded after. We also did some more photos at Claireport Place as well.
