The Loft in the Distillery District
This year has definitely been my busiest as a wedding photographer. Not just for the sheer size of some of my weddings, but also for the quantity. I honestly thought that elopements and micro weddings would slow down when covid restrictions loosened up. But here I am, photographing big weddings on the weekends, and having elopements take over my weekdays. Here’s to Jennifer and Greg’s cozy laid back wedding at The Loft in the Distillery District!
These two are definitely city lovers. They have a condo in the heart of Toronto. So their pre-party / drinking kicked off at their building’s party room before heading to the Loft brewery. The room’s balcony boasted some beautiful views of the city’s hustle bustle. I personally took full advantage and captured every family combination imaginable. Once complete, we headed over to the Distillery District for the bridal party and couple portraits.
The bride did have a request for vintage vibes. So the colours in these wedding photos are definitely more muted and olive tone than my usual. I also included black and whites of some of my favourite memories.
Ceremony / Reception
Creating a warm, cozy and romantic vibe was pretty easy with this group. The Loft in the Distillery District was the perfect spot to host their ceremony and reception. Twinkle lights were strewn across the wall for the ceremony backdrop which added to the romance. The food and service were amazing. And once the key moments were done, I was free to enjoy the rest of my afternoon a the Distillery District. Take a look at all the fun we had.
