Eganridge Resort Golf Club
This Wedding video was of an intimate ceremony at Eganridge Resort Golf Club. Normally I don’t travel so far for a wedding. But I’ve been receiving a lot of inquiries for road trip weddings this summer. This event was pretty small, and outdoors for the most part despite the rain predictions. Only 60 close guests were able to attend.
The grounds of this golf course were absolutely beautiful. With the questionable weather, there weren’t a lot of golfers about. In fact, we had most of the area to ourselves. And having a bride who was ok with getting her dress a little dirty, made the whole process more entertaining. The bridal party was also super helpful with organizing elements and keeping the couple laughing throughout the entire process.
The original plan was to have their ceremony outdoors along the Eganridge Resort Golf Club waterfront. And despite the rain, we did continue with this plan. A few umbrellas popped up during the ceremony. But for the most part people were just fine getting a little wet. This was a Scottish wedding, complete with bagpipers and all. The bride herself used to be a professional bagpiper, so it was a nice detail.
The reception was very well organized and fun. The bridal party did shots for their grand entrance. There were lots of fun speeches. And granted speeches aren’t a highlight of mine when doing photos, they do play a huge part in my wedding video. The couple had a coordinated dance routine for their first dance. And they were able to squeeze in a sunset shoot at the end of the night. Which luckily finished early, as I had a 2 hr drive back home from Eganridge Resort Golf Club.
