Family Photography Session
I know how cherished your children and your memories of them are. At the same time, I understand how the pressures that come with school, travel, work, and after school activities can make it difficult for you to make a family photography session a priority. You want to document your children as they grow and capture all their milestones. But with the daily chaos that is life, their childhood seems to be passing by in the blink of an eye. Which is why you get to decide a location that is convenient for you.
All families have different visions for their family photography session. Some bring kids and pets while others hire me out to document entire family reunions. I can start as early as you’d like, offering services like maternity and newborn sessions. Or we can aim for an annual update of your family portrait. One of the things my clients tell me, again and again, is how much they appreciate that I listen to their requests and plan their family photography session around what they want. So if you have any ideas on the type of pose or combination you’d like to replicate, let me know.
I pride myself on connecting quickly and easily with my clients. Clients tell me that one of their biggest concerns is how their children will react during a family photography session. I can help parents prepare their children for the session and I am ready with a bag of tricks (quite literally) up my sleeves. So my clients can rest assured that no matter what their child’s mood or temperament, they will have beautiful memories of their family from our time together.
I deliver you professionally edited images via digital download one week after your family photography session. I don’t sensor the images. If they successfully came out, you get it. On the chance you have multiple kids, I composite when possible. If your pet blinks, his eyes will be digitally opened. These are all standard edits included in my package prices. If you have more advanced edits in mind, I can provide a custom quote. This would be based on the complexity of the request. Upgrades such as albums, canvases, and prints are available as well but you can decide on these once you’ve had a chance to review the images.
This extended family session was done in the couple’s home. This particular session was performed during COVID using new safety measures. To learn more about these protocols, check out my COVID Protocols page.
Prior to this family shoot in my portable studio, I also photographed the couple’s maternity shoot (part 1 and part 2), as well as their newborn session.
