Mississauga Convention Centre
The Mississauga Convention Centre has been providing clients with exceptional service for both social and corporate functions. Their attention to detail, personalized care, and customer service have been paramount to their success. Every year I have at least one wedding set here. Yet each time, these weddings are completely different. I always found the key to a successful venue is its ability to adapt to any client’s need. That is something I find Mississauga Convention Centre does in spades. They tailor every detail of a wedding to create the perfect day. From the moment you arrive until your last guest departs, their staff are on point.
The venue itself is a joy to photograph. Their reception rooms showcase high coffer ceilings and majestic crystal chandeliers. The chandeliers add such an elegance to the couple’s first dance. It makes my bride and groom look like royalty. The bridal suites very spacious to work in which comes in handy when brides have to manoeuvre in long terrains. It also provides multiple vanity setups bridesmaids. This couple was surrounded by friends and family in the luxury of this exquisite wedding facility. And their special day was filled with beautiful memories of love and laughter.
Chinese Tea Ceremony
These two were my first couple to book for 2019. They planned everything so far in advance and down to the minute. I knew the play by play rundown of their wedding two months in advance. Normally when I have dual ceremony wedding days, I kind of expect things to fall behind. But when things are planned this well, everything went according to plan.
They had separate preps in the morning. Both the bride and groom got ready with their respective bridal parties and family. The groom and his groomsmen eventually headed to the bride’s hotel where they performed a series of challenges. In Chinese custom, they’re door games where the groom must prove his worth before getting to see his bride. Once they were finally together, they had a small traditional tea ceremony honoring the elders of their family. The civil ceremony was at Mississauga Convention Centre. While their hall flipped for the evening reception, the full bridal party proceeded to Kariya Park. As it was a cold spring day, the ladies stayed warm with fur shawls. The remainder of the evening was pretty relaxing. Between the magician, kissing game, and speeches there was always something fun happening.
The second shooter for this event was Michelle Paquot.
I also photographed their anniversary shoot during one of my cherry blossom minis.
