Mississauga Convention Centre
Gina and Andrew’s wedding may have been at the the Mississauga Convention Centre. But the day started at their family homes, the day felt deeply personal. They chose to get ready separately, surrounded by the people who raised them, and it set such a meaningful tone. There’s something special about documenting quiet moments in childhood homes. The laughter in the kitchen, final touches in familiar bedrooms, and those calm-before-the-storm emotions that only happen at home.
Their ceremony at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish was beautiful and reverent. It was a traditional Filipino Catholic ceremony complete with the veiling and tying of the couple. As a photographer, I loved how the light filled the church and how present the couple was with each other. Every glance, every smile felt intentional. It was clear this wasn’t just a wedding day. It was a moment they had been waiting for.
Portraits
After the ceremony, we headed to Adamson Estate for couple portraits, and it was pure magic. The waterfront views, historic architecture, and quiet paths gave us the perfect backdrop. Gina and Andrew were completely at ease together, which made my job effortless.
Reception
The celebration continued at the Mississauga Convention Centre, where the energy shifted to joy, laughter, and one unforgettable party. The venue was filled with heartfelt speeches to a packed dance floor, their reception was the perfect ending to a thoughtfully planned, love-filled day. It was an honor to document every part of it.
The second shooter for this wedding was Raspal Singh.
