This couple found me a month before their Muslim Wedding. The event was always meant to be a small event in their Islamic Foundation. Super small. Very low key. Minimal guests. And last minute, they started to wonder if they would regret not having a professional photographer. It’s crazy how often that happens.
Let’s start this muslim wedding off with bride prep at the bride’s family home. Nothing over the top. Just her getting her hair/makeup done while the family helps in any way they could. We did plan to do a first look and couple portraits before the ceremony. However the groom was badly delayed with traffic and errands. No worries, the bride was absolutely stunning and rocked a solo shoot at Guildwood Park.
The Nikkah Ceremony was at their local Islamic Foundation Hall. The couple happened to have a close family member who as super talented in wedding decor and planning. So this simple space was completely decked out for the event. Despite the small guest count, it felt like a proper wedding.
The Nikkah ceremony was held in their main event room and included all the traditional elements. Once the ceremony concluded, the couple exchanged rings, gifts, and took part in family photos. Once the major events were completed, the couple disappeared for some photos of just them. And my services for this Muslim Wedding concluded for the night.
