Nottawasaga Inn
This past weekend I photographed Erin and Ryan’s beautiful summer wedding at Nottawasaga Inn. Their story is filled with love and so much support from their friends and family. I originally met them at two other weddings. See it seems Erin’s circle of friends/bridesmaids have something besides friendship in common. They all have me as their wedding photographer. This is my third wedding within this group. The last bridesmaid is still in the works, but give it time.
From what I learned at these previous events, these two are kind and caring people who are always there for one another. They also have the best dog ever. Yes, I’m a dog lover, and I absolutely adore when couples include their furbabies in the wedding day. He was such a cute ring bearer.
Ceremony
The civil wedding ceremony was at the Nottawasaga Inn Gardens. I visited the wedding gardens earlier this year as it was my first time photographing this venue. I did not anticipate how lush it gets during the summer. Talk about a romantic escape from city life. It was a beautiful spot for a wedding ceremony and even more fun for the formal portrait session. Despite the ever dark clouds, which seems to have been a theme this summer, we received only a small sprinkle. They always say rain on your wedding day is good luck. So they received a small dose of good luck.
Reception
At their reception they were surrounded by all of their closest friends, and family. I always love being at receptions and hearing the speeches. It provides amazing insite into the couple’s love story. Being a wedding photographer is such a privilege and I am so thankful that each and every couple allows me into such an important day in their lives.
