Oakville Conference Centre
Karrie and Sean’s chic and romantic wedding at the Oakville Conference Centre was a dream. This venue customizes everything for a wedding. From establishing well laid-out floorplans to planning your wedding details. Every element of the menu can be upgraded to whatever you like. And considering the size of this wedding, the catering team at Oakville Conference Centre was able to keep up with the allocated schedule.
These two had their Catholic ceremony at St Matthew Church. Sticking to the traditional format, they didn’t have a first look. Instead, the first time they saw each other was when Carrie walked down the aisle. The wedding photos during the ceremony were amazing. This church as so much natural light pouring in, making weddings very easy to capture.
After the ceremony, we headed to Burlington Waterfront with the bridal party for a series of creative portraits and group photos. I know, I know global warming is bad. But how amazing is it to have a winter wedding with snow and still be able to walk around without a jacket on your big day. Lake Ontario was a beautiful backdrop for these wedding photos. There were a lot of pedestrians roaming about, however, they cleared away when they saw a bride coming.
It’s amazing what a white gown can do. I always suggest my couples to hold onto their wedding attire. Every so often, put the dress back on a go to a local Mcdonalds. Or wear it when you check onto a flight to see if they’ll bump you to first class. I’m fully aware those wedding outfits are expensive, so you might as well get full use out of it.
This photogenic family was beautiful both inside and out. Sean is a kind and loving person. And Karrie was an amazing listener and speaker. She gave one of the most beautiful speeches I have ever heard. Her thank you to the maid of honour was super sweet. The maid of honour was actually the bride’s big sister from the “big brother big sister” program. They paired together almost two decades ago and have stayed together ever since. The couple’s two little girls were also a dream to work with. They looked like mini versions of their mother and had white dressed to match. So thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day. I wish you a long and happy life together. If the past is an indication of the future, you two should have no problem making this forever.
I also photographed this family’s fall mini session.
