Old Mill Toronto
Here’s to a sweet vintage wedding at Old Mill Toronto. Normally by now, I’d be embracing summer weddings, but it seems mother nature missed the memo. Holy moly you guys, these two were so freakin awesome to shoot. Thank you Monica & Steve for being so epic and crazy fun. I loved hanging out with these two beautiful people and getting to capture their wedding photos because they were so cool. Most couples would be freaking out if their summer wedding with scattered rain storms. I know I was. However, these two totally embraced it. They even kept their ceremony outdoors during the shower. Their puppies definitely enjoyed it as well.
I was so happy photographing this intimate wedding. The Old Mill has tons of unique spots for photo ops. If you’re looking for a romantic, moody, and elegant wedding venue in Toronto, this spot checks all the boxes. Right when you turn into the property you’ll feel as if you’ve stepped into a timeless European town. It has beautiful backdrops wherever you look. Including pretty lookout spots around the outdoor courtyard and stunning chandelier lit hallways indoors.
You’d think with the all the rescheduling, this couple would have gone a bit insane. But quite honestly they still ended up being my most relaxed couple going through all this. They had an outdoor ceremony, and flexible room assignments. The grounds outside was in full bloom when it came to flowers. But that was bound to happen with all this rain. After the ceremony, we did do all the portraits of the two of them together.
Once done the couple was free to mingle with their guests. There were speeches, cake cutting and dances. But the big thing I was looking forward to was the dance floor. These two had a super energetic bridal party, so I was waiting on their dance moves all day.
I also photographed their engagement shoot.
