Paradise Banquet Hall
Ingrid and Carl’s 40th anniversary was a celebration wrapped in love, legacy, and the most radiant shade of red. As their photographer, I had the joy of documenting a day that felt both timeless and deeply personal. Their renewal of vows took place in the lush gardens of Paradise Banquet Hall, where the afternoon light filtered perfectly through the trees. Every detail—right down to the record playing in the background, chosen specially in honor of the Lady in Red theme—set the tone for a heartfelt and elegant ceremony.
Their daughters, dressed in stunning red gowns, stood proudly as bridesmaids, adding a beautiful generational touch to the moment. And perhaps the most adorable highlight of all was their dog trotting down the aisle as the ring boy, tail wagging and stealing everyone’s attention.
As evening fell, the celebration moved indoors to a reception filled with emotion. Family and friends delivered touching speeches that had the room alternating between laughter and tears, and soon after, the dance floor came alive. Ingrid and Carl swayed together like it was still their first dance decades ago.
Capturing their devotion, joy, and the vibrant energy of the day was an absolute honor. It was an anniversary I’ll never forget.
Renewal of Vows Ceremony
This may have been a renewal of vows ceremony celebrating 40 years of marriage, but you would never guess it. The family pulled out all the stops and produced an event that rivals a lot of my actual weddings. They had a full ceremony at Paradise Banquet Hall. Their bridal party was made up of their daughters and dog. It was an emotional day for everyone. And it’s always nice to have that reassuring feeling in the air that these two are going to make it.
I also did the video for this event.
