Paradise Banquet Hall
This venue offers some great variety when it comes to weddings. I have photographed many weddings at Paradise Banquet Hall and each time they are significantly different. It doesn’t matter the culture, size, theme, or couple. This venue is a chameleon. And even better, it can coordinate multiple weddings at once without conflicts between the events.
Portrait Session
This particular wedding had a very tight timeline after the ceremony. So Sheena and Karol opted to do a first look and sort out all their portraits before the ceremony. We did their family, bridal party, and couple portraits at the Paradise Banquet Hall gardens just outside. The sun was out but with a regular overcast that provided some amazing lighting. Despite their large bridal party, we did get through all the photos incredibly quick.
After the Christian wedding ceremony at Humbercrest United Church, we did another round of portraits outside the church. This time opening it up to the extended family as well. This way the couple could get through all the formal photos early and enjoy the rest of their night.
Reception
The cocktail hour and evening reception at Paradise Banquet Hall was very eventful. There was a great cross mingling amongst guests. And the couple made a point to meet and chat with each one. Their grand entrance went right into their first dance and cake cutting. They had a long lineup of speeches and Caribana dancers brought in to kickstart their dance floor. And as such, I was able to get some really fun party shots of this crowd.
