St Peter and Paul’s Banquet Hall
This year has definitely been my busiest as a wedding photographer. Not just for the sheer size of some of my weddings, but also for the quantity. I honestly thought that elopements and micro weddings would slow down when covid restrictions loosened up. But here I am, photographing big weddings on the weekends, and having elopements take over my weekdays. But then I get couples who plan something perfectly in the middle. A small wedding with some big flair. Here’s to Brandi & Chris’s family friendly wedding at St Peter and Paul’s Banquet Hall.
Both the bride and groom got ready at a nearby hotel. They had a pretty big bridal party with lots of kids so the boys and girls got separate rooms. Brandi planned this wedding down to the last detail. She was a very Pinterest inspired bride. So there were creative touches and diy projects scattered throughout the day.
Ceremony
They had a simple civil ceremony at Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church. When I first heard about this church I assumed this was going to be an hourly long Ukrainian orthodox ceremony. But it wasn’t even close. The location was only selected for its walking distance proximity to St Peter and Paul’s Banquet Hall. The ceremony itself barely lasted 20min. So even though we started almost an hour late, that ceremony caught us up on time pretty quick.
Reception
The reception was coordinated by St Peter and Paul’s Banquet Hall. The reception hall was stunning. The couple went all out. We’re talking sparklers, dry ice, spotlighting effects, etc. They did the grand entrance with their bridal party and went straight into their first dance.
Premium Package
This is a relatively new service I offer. It gives you the benefit of two photographers for your morning prep/portrait sessions. You get photo/video coverage of the ceremony and reception. And a photo booth is available for your guests once the dance floor opens. It a little bit of everything, but only requires 2 shooters throughout the day. I am a trained on photographer and videographer. This just allows me to transition between the two throughout the day. Video coverage of this event is at the bottom of the page. It includes a full runthrough of the wedding ceremony and the scheduled highlights of the evening wedding reception. All speeches and vows are uncut so you remember every word
