Terrace Banquet Centre
I photograph so many weddings at Terrace Banquet Centre. This venue seems to be the go-to for a conservative Jewish Orthodox community in the area. However, occasionally I’ll get to photograph a completely different style of wedding. This one happened to be a modern take on traditional Chinese weddings. So, the formal red normally used on the bride’s dress resonated through the entire hall. The bold color brought everything together.
Pinterest Inspired
My favorite Pinterest bride of the year. I know some photographers dread Pinterest couples. I love them. They come prepared with inspirational photos of what they want for their wedding. Creative poses to combinations. And they give me plenty of time to get everything taken. As a result, I have a checklist on my phone that I work my way through while throwing in a few of my own ideas along the way. More often than not, I’ll end up with some new ideas I can use in the future as well. It ends up being a great way of testing out new posing and compositional ideas. If they work out, great. If they don’t, the couple is still happy that you tried.
Glendon College Campus
This was my first time photographing a wedding portrait session at the Glendon College Campus. Surprising since I used to live only 10 minutes away. Didn’t even realize this hidden gem even existed. The gardens are beautifully maintained. Just make sure you sort out parking permits before the wedding day. We didn’t realize and had no time to do it on the wedding day. As a result, I ended up with a parking ticket during our portrait session.
The groom of this wedding is frat brother of a groom who’s wedding I’m photographing next week. These are going to be some big parties coming up.

I also did their Christmas Maternity Shoot and newborn session.
