The Vue and Clubhouse EventSpace
Sabrina & Kevin’s wedding at The Vue and Clubhouse EventSpace was such a beautiful and emotional day. The two planned their ceremony outdoors overlooking the golf course. The bride’s family was traditionally Italian, but many of the customs were simplified to match the couple’s personal tastes. So no veil, no church, and the bride wore sneaker under her dress. The groom with his usual wit and good humor cracked a couple of jokes to lighten the mood of an otherwise serious event. But that’s exactly who these two are as a couple. They get the job done without taking themselves too seriously. And The Vue and Clubhouse EventSpace offered the perfect setting for this ceremony that made them husband and wife.
I have photographed wedding at The Vue and Clubhouse EventSpace and was fully aware of their restrictions when it came to the golf course. So instead, we took the bridal party to Centennial Park. They have a disk golf area that is pretty quiet in the afternoon. It offered an isolated area for their wedding photos with all the visuals of a traditional golf course.
The ceremony was just outside the venue under a floral wooden alter. My favorite part about golf course weddings is the quiet. Its a lot of open fields and people are very considerate of those playing golf. However during the ceremony, even the golfers will take a pause and peak in. It was a beautiful rustic setting. The civil ceremony was beautiful and romantic. And their exit was accompanied by a farewell kiss for their guests.
Fast forward to their reception at The Vue and Clubhouse EventSpace and man was it a blast. In addition to the wedding cake, they had a whole table display of custom made cakes designed by the family. Their speeches were hilarious. And once a few tables were cleared, they shared the sweetest first dance. It displayed this couple’s playful personalities while still showing their immense love for each other. The rest of the night was one big party. Thank you so much, Sabrina & Kevin, for entrusting me to capture such an important day in your lives together. It means the world to me.
