Trinity Banquet Hall
I don’t work a lot of weddings in the Kitchener area but when I do, a lot of them seem to happen here at Trinity Banquet Hall. On the surface it’s a pretty simple venue but it gives couples the opportunity to completely customize everything to their own tastes. They transition the ceremony and reception space during cocktail hour. There is an outdoor picnic area on one side of the venue for a simple portrait session. And a church for formal ceremonies on the other side. A great option for budget-conscious couples.
Bridal Party
As calm and down to earth as this couple was, their bridal party was the polar opposite. This bridal party had so much energy and was constantly trying to make the couple laugh. While the couple was planning their simple wedding, these guys had plans of their own. Floral backdrops, cigars, epic speeches. Your bridal party is the group that is going to keep you sane on your wedding day. Choose them wisely. Having all your events in one convenient location like Trinity Banquet Hall helps too. But these people are essentially the barrier between you and the chaos of your wedding day.
This particular couple had a young son who doubled as the official ring bearer. Anyone who has had a 6year old kid at a wedding knows the stress that comes with it. It took all 8 bridal party members to keep this kid entertained. My favorite memory from this wedding was seeing this boy do loops during the ceremony. He walked down the aisle perfectly. And then did a full round only to walk down the aisle again with the bride. He continued doing loops until the officiant called him for the rings. At which point, all you saw was a ring pillow thrown up in the air and him refusing to walk anymore. He was done.
